Job Seekers Frequently Asked Questions
Does Clover work with or represent job seekers?
Not exactly. At Clover our paying clients are the nonprofits who hire us to help them find and hire great people. As a result, we do not do paid coaching or search work on behalf of job seekers; we feel that would create a conflict of interest that would be contrary to our equity goals. That said, we are always happy to get to know candidates and job seekers, and happy to talk to you about the jobs we are currently searching for!
What should I do if I want to learn about and/or be considered for positions that Clover is searching for?
To see current searches, the best thing to do is follow us on LinkedIn and check out our Open Searches page on this website. Our announcements always include contact information so you can directly reach out and learn more from whoever is leading the search.
To stay on our radar for future and upcoming searches, please go to this link and send us your current resume. You will be prompted to answer a few questions about the kinds of jobs you are most interested in. When there are positions that seem like they might be a strong fit for your skills, we will email you to invite you to take a look at them. But even if you submit your materials, don’t wait to hear from us! Following our LinkedIn and website announcements is always the quickest and most efficient way to know what positions are available
Will my resume and information be kept confidential?
YES, all information you share including your name, contact information, and resume is confidential to the Clover team. We will not share your name or that you may be considering a new position with anyone outside of our organization, including the nonprofit clients we are working with. If you decide to apply to a specific job and submit your materials, at that point we will share your information with that Search Committee (usually composed of Board and Staff members), but even then the Search Committees have agreed to adhere to our strict confidentiality policy. We understand that job hunting is sensitive, and we take our commitment to protecting your privacy very seriously.
What can candidates expect in a search process with Clover Search Works?

You can expect clear, timely communication at every stage, from initial contact to final decision. We're committed to procedural transparency, providing honest feedback and keeping you informed about your application status. Our commitment to equity spans from recruitment to offer. I would like to speak to someone personally about my job hunt. Can I schedule a conversation with you?
Our co-founder Emily Anthony enjoys talking to people about their career journeys, and occasionally has time to chat informally with job seekers about what they are looking for, particularly in the Puget Sound area. If you are interested in a conversation like that, please email her directly at emily@cloversearchworks.com to see if she has any openings in the next few weeks. Thanks in advance for your patience, as she is busy with current search work most of the time!
